International College's anthem, ‘The Future in Our Hands’, was created in 2017 by the famous British rock singer, songwriter and producer, Clive Nolan.

In one of his visits to Punta del Este, Clive was introduced to IC’s project. The connection he felt with our vision and the voices of our students, inspired him to create our meaningful anthem.

The Future in Our Hands

To face adventures far and wide
To share as one with every stride
And here we meet all life’s demands
With knowledge as our guide

To celebrate the lives we live
With every year there’s more to give
In harmony, we now reach out
With learning as our guide

In fellowship, we take this path
With enterprise, we journey forth
Whatever fate may bring our way
With courage, we will face each day

Let no mountain be too high
Let no soul be thrown aside
With dignity and strength, we stand
We hold the future in our hands

With confidence and fullest hearts
This bond is never torn apart
The best we have is yet to come
With wisdom as our guide
