The programme consists of three levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze, designed to challenge and develop the skills and abilities of young people. At each level, participants embark on an exciting journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

The fundamental pillars of the Duke of Edinburgh Programme are:

  1. Volunteering: Students have the opportunity to actively and meaningfully contribute to their community by participating in community service projects and volunteering. Through this experience, they develop a sense of responsibility and empathy towards others.
  2. Skill development: Participants can choose a skill or area of interest in which they wish to develop and improve. Whether it is learning a musical instrument, exploring an artistic discipline, or gaining knowledge in a new language, personal growth and cultural enrichment are encouraged.
  3. Physical activity: Regular participation in physical and sports activities is essential for the well-being of young people. From team sports to individual activities, the Duke of Edinburgh Programme promotes a healthy and active lifestyle.
  4. Expedition-Exploration: This exciting and challenging section of the programme allows students to embark on an expedition in the great outdoors, developing leadership skills, teamwork and resilience. Through the exploration of nature and the environment, respect for the environment and the spirit of adventure are encouraged.

The Duke of Edinburgh Programme is based on core values such as resilience, perseverance, frustration tolerance, personal development, appreciation of nature, guidance, friendship and collaborative work.
